About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant with teaching responsibility for one day per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, confident and committed practitioner with QTS to support high-quality learning across the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and leaders to support pupils’ learning, independence and progress, while also taking responsibility for planned teaching one day per week. They will be adaptable, nurturing and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have the confidence to deliver learning, support individual needs and contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.

The postholder will provide HLTA support across the academy (from September this will be Reception through to Year 5) for 4 days per week, and will teach in Year 5 for 1 day per week.
