Role: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)

We need you to build great relationships with all our pupils, so you can motivate them to do well and be the best that they can be.
You will need to be flexible and resourceful, and ideally, have experience of working with children and young people. You will work as part of a dynamic team focusing on providing the best education for our children
We have recently been graded as ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted (Oct 2023). We are highly regarded for our excellent standards of behaviour and effective SEND provision. We are a highly inclusive school with dedicated staff.
· Salary details: Grade 8 (£29,269 – £32,076) per annum (pro rata accordingly).
• Hours: 32.5 hours per week– Monday to Friday.
• Job term: permanent, term time only
· To commence: 30th September 2024 or as soon after
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience working in a school environment and covering classes
• Delivering specific intervention
• Working with children on a one to one basis
• Be friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner
• Be positive and patient in their approach with pupils
• Be proactive in supporting the pastoral team and pupils in the restorative process
• Be willing to support administrative duties related to SEND and Inclusion and pastoral support
