About this Role

Serenity School Eltham is looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our inclusive and therapeutic learning community. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of complex needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning challenges.

We are committed to providing a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with our SENDCo, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality, individualised education.

Serenity School is seeking:

  • A dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher
  • Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
  • An individual able to plan, deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to pupils with SEN
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals to ensure joined-up support
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent (unqualified teachers with relevant experience may be considered).
  • Strong Maths subject knowledge
  • Experience or interest in working with SEN  (e.g. autism, speech and language needs)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A patient, nurturing and flexible approach
