We are a close knit team who value and support each other- working towards the common goal of providing an outstanding, inclusive education within a supportive and happy environment. We have children who want to learn, are happy, considerate, well behaved and welcoming. Our parent body is supportive and engaged with the school.
We are committed to continuing to reduce workload through the use of carefully chosen schemes, a minimal marking approach and the option to have PPA off site. We provide regular leadership time to enable extra responsibilities to be carried out. Staff well being is high on our priority- with an open door policy where staff are listened to by the SLT and time to talk to our on site councillor should this be required.
Within the next 2 years we will have a brand new school which will be environmentally friendly as well as offering us the best possible learning environment that we can offer our young people, while retaining our fantastic grounds and the ethos of our school.
The role is for a class teacher, within key stage 2, with subject leadership for English- so a passion for the subject and experience of leading a core subject would be advantageous. This role would suit an experienced leader who is looking for that next step up the ladder onto the senior leadership team.
