At St Mary's school, we are proud of our good OFSTED rating
across all areas (2025) and our Good SIAMS rating (2018). We are confident that
at St Mary's you will find a community where standards of behaviour and respect
for others are given a high priority, where every child is encouraged to strive
to achieve their best in an environment where children are happy and eager to
learn.
We are looking for an Assistant Head of inclusion with
shared teaching responsibility (2 days AH/3 days in class) who is an excellent
communicator and will use these skills to build powerful relationships within
the school, the wider community and the Trust family of
schools. They must also be driven to provide professional leadership
and manage the SENDCO & FLO and ensure that the standards of provision and
professional practice in the school promote the very best outcomes for all
children. A successful candidate should have high aspirations, and would
be accountable for high
standards of teaching, learning and curriculum standards achieved across the
school.
Our chosen candidate will embrace and promote the essential
Christian ethos of the school, while respecting and valuing those of all faiths
and world views.
Our children are lively and inquisitive, with a strong sense
of personal responsibility linked to our Christian values. With
their parents and carers, they take pride in the school and its
achievements. Supporting them are a dedicated and talented staff
team who have high aspirations for the children they teach and for their own
professional development.
At the ODBST we have high expectations of our leadership
teams and work hard to support them in providing a safe, caring and outstanding
learning environment.
