About this Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to join our Academy.  You will help the curriculum lead raise the profile of modern languages throughout the academy.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the improvement of the academy and be central in our drive to continue to improve standards and the quality of education and welfare for our students.

The role is based on working up to 32.5 hours per week (the role may be offered on a Full or Part Time basis), school term time (39 working weeks per year). This role is a maternity cover position, offered on a fixed-term contract for the duration of the maternity leave (up to 12 months).

A passion for your subject as well as a desire to make a difference are essential. The current Modern Foreign Language curriculum consists of teaching Spanish to both Key Stage 3 and 4. The Spanish curriculum follows the Extensive Processing Instruction methodology devised by G. Conti, and we are seeking to develop this approach further to secure the highest outcomes for our students.
