About this Role

The Headteacher and her senior leadership team are looking to recruit a new Breakfast Club Play Worker and Teaching Assistant. These two roles are combined for one successful candidate and the hours will be broken down as follows: 

Breakfast Club Play Worker - Monday - Friday 07.15 - 08.45am

Teaching Assistant - Monday - Friday 08.45 - 11.15am

Main Responsibilities - Breakfast Club Play Worker: 

  • Assist in the preparation of snacks, cleaning away and washing up when required.
  • To be responsible to a group of children as designated by the manager.
  • Assist in ensuring that the children are safe at all times.

Main Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant: 

  • Supporting teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Planning and running interventions to support pupil progress.
  • Assessing pupil attainment and progress for a specified group of pupils.
  • Ensuring the best care and guidance for pupils in a specified class.
