About this Role

About you

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher. The successful candidate will create a positive and appropriate learning environment through their vision and leadership, helping to deliver the highest standard of education to pupils by supporting teachers and staff and ensuring a vibrant, safe and successful school environment. You will also aspire to enhance the life chances and quality of education for our pupils. 

The Role

Battledown Centre is a special school which is part of SAND Academies Trust. We provide specialist assessment of children between the ages of 2 to 11 and cover the whole range of additional needs.

At Battledown we believe in the concept of lifelong learning and the notion that learning should be rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone. Through our teaching we hope to equip children with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices about the important things in their lives. We believe that appropriate teaching and learning experiences help children to lead happy and rewarding lives. You will help us shape the future of our school and pupils.
