Thornhill Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and create an inclusive, supportive environment that enables every pupil - particularly those with SEND - to achieve their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide high quality support to enhance teaching and learning for pupils with SEND
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
Support pupils with SEND, helping remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes
Deliver targeted interventions and adapted learning strategies
Contribute to pupil assessments and progress reviews
Work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies

Previous experience working with pupils with autism who are non-verbal is desirable.
