About this Role
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Learning Mentor to join our established and experienced team supporting pupils with special education needs (SEN) at Wey Valley Academy. The current vacancy is within the schools SEN provision. The successful candidate will work with the SENDCo to deliver further improvements in this area.
The successful candidate will have recent experience of working with young people or proven impact upon children's progress. Candidates should also be passionate and ambitious wit h a drive and commitment to working with children. You will have a dynamic, responsive, and creative approach to your work that benefits all children.
The role will include supporting our teaching staff daily, as they deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for our young people. flexibility is key and positive behaviour management is also an important part of the role.
