Starting Actual Salary: £28,343 to 44,238 (depending on experience) + SEN allowance (£2787)

Location: Pathways School, New Road, Dagenham, RM9 6PH

Contract type- Full time position 

Pathways School is a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health school from Years 1 to 11. Pupils receive a sector leading education with access to the full national curriculum made accessible through the delivery of specialist adaptations. We are looking to appoint an inspirational KS3/SEN Teacher for September 2026 or sooner who will be a motivational role model to our pupils to help them make rapid academic progress and enhance their social, emotional understanding.

This role is based at Pathways School, New Road, Dagenham, RM9 6PH

A unique opportunity has arisen for an innovative, creative and resilient KS3/SEN Teacher to join the team at a special school in an ethnically diverse inner-city area.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience of teaching across Secondary, possibly with primary experience, in either a special or mainstream setting.  They will have a proven track record of impact in securing high quality outcomes for pupils’ learning and an excellent subject knowledge to teach to GCSE level and possibly beyond.
