We are pleased to share the exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher position at Stone Lodge School.

The school opened in 2019 and has seen rapid growth and now has over 1000 students. We moved into a brand-new building in 2022. The school is heavily oversubscribed and serves the needs of its local communities, with a very local catchment area. Following a strong Ofsted inspection in October 2023, followed by a successful first set of GCSE and post 16 results.

The new deputy headteacher will lead behaviour and culture in a dynamic and exciting school, with talented and committed staff and great students, to ensure young people lead successful lives. We believe in the importance of maintaining impeccable behaviour where teachers can teach and students can focus on learning, free from distractions. We explicitly teach behaviour and routines to maintain a culture of high expectations through a warm/strict approach.

Stone Lodge School is fully inclusive and caters for the diverse needs of its students. We have appointed highly motivated, dynamic support staff, teachers and leaders who deliver exciting learning every lesson, every day, so that all our students reach their full potential and secure first-class destinations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established, motivated senior leader who is keen to lead behaviour and culture, ensure relentless consistency with the implementation of the behaviour expectations and developing effective pastoral support so the young people at Stone Lodge can flourish.

Our ideal candidate will:

·         Have strong leadership skills, with outstanding communication skills and an ability to work successfully with all stakeholders

  • Have a track record of success in their current role
