Vacancy for Year 5/6 Teacher/Leader at Somersham Primary School

Salary: MPS/UPS (possibility of a TLR2A for Year 5/6 Phase Leadership for the right candidate)

Hours: Core school hours

 

We have an exciting vacancy for a Year 5/6 teacher at Somersham Primary School! We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking teacher with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment practices of Year 5/6, who has passion and drive to support our young people to go on to secondary school with the right skills and knowledge to succeed.

For the right candidate, there is a possibility of a Phase Leadership role to manage and support the development of good practice. You will ensure high standards of teaching and provide valuable support to colleagues in their personal and professional development. You would join the school’s SLT and have a role in providing strong strategic direction.  This would be a great opportunity to further develop leadership skills and experience in promoting high quality teaching and learning in Year 5/6.  If you are interested in this role, please indicate it clearly on the application form.
