At Holme Hall Primary School, we strive to provide the best education for all our pupils in a caring and supportive environment, and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join our happy team. Previous experience of working in a school, knowledge of SEND and experience of supporting the delivery of phonics would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and have a good working knowledge of phonics.
• Support the class teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of high quality learning experiences.
• Promote and safeguard childrenʼs physical, social and emotional wellbeing, responding sensitively to individual needs.
• Bring creativity and innovation to learning activities, problem solving and pupil engagement.
• Maintain high expectations for both achievement and behaviour, modelling positive attitudes and conduct.
• Uphold and actively promote the schoolʼs values, ethos and inclusive culture.
• Champion the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring that children with specific or additional needs are fully supported and able to participate in all aspects of school life.
• Show strong motivation and passion for helping children thrive, making a genuine difference to their learning and development.
• Use initiative to assess, monitor and evaluate pupilsʼ needs, adapting support strategies where necessary.
