Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Hyde Park School are looking to appoint an inspiring Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will play a key role delivering high quality teaching and learning throughout the school. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be committed to providing a creative and invigorating learning environment for all children.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will work collaboratively with the Teacher to deliver high quality lessons and interventions which form part of the school curriculum. You will be driven to support teachers to help raise attainment standards and encouraging children to reach their full potential.
We are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants who:
· Have experience of working within a primary school or early years setting
· Have an understanding of effective teaching methods and able to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities
· Can build relationships with and nurture pupils to enable positive educational outcomes
· Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
· GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above
· Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working
· NVQ2/3 or equivalent or working towards the qualification is desirable
