Rose Hill Primary School is excited to bring this brand new role to our school.
Our Early Years Foundation Stage unit consists of a thriving Nursery with a long waiting list, an oversubscribed Reception class, and an Enhanced Provision for pupils with Global Developmental Delay. In July 2025, Ofsted judged our EYFS to be 'Good', but we know there is more work to do - we want to be the best of the best.
Our community deserves an exceptional start to their primary education and so we are looking for an exceptionally talented leader to take on this varied role, which comes with the autonomy to really 'make it your own'.
The EYFS SENDCo and Phase Lead will teach in either Nursery or Reception, with allocated leadership time. As a key member of the school's Leadership Team, they will work closely with the EYFS and Enhanced Provision teaching and support team, the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo. They will sit alongside an established Leadership Team consisting of a Headteacher, Deputy HT, Assistant HT and Phase Leaders.
Rose Hill is unusual in what we offer to our colleagues, and are proud to have our colleagues' well-being at the forefront of everything we do.

Our People Say:
"What I really love about Rose Hill is the genuine sense of community that runs through everything we do. The people I work with are supportive, collaborative and always look out for each other, which makes a huge difference day to day. The children are at the heart of it all. Their energy, honesty and little moments of progress are what make the job so rewarding." (First Year ECT)
"Over the past eight years at RHPS, I have taken on a variety of roles each offering new opportunities to grow and develop. There is always room for progression here. What I value most are the meaningful relationships I build with students and staff, all within a supportive and positive environment." (Pastoral Team Member)
"I have worked at Rose Hill for 11 years! I think I have worked here for so long because of the fantastic children. Rose Hill is a place where you feel welcomed by all and it has a real sense of community. I have been able to progress in my career at Rose Hill and I would not have been able to do this without the great support that is offered." (Pastoral Team Member)
