The role: Class Teacher - KS3 Maths Teacher
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS - UPS
Vacancy Details
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work predominantly with students in Year 7 and Year 8 within our SEMH provision. The successful candidate will deliver Maths at a lower KS2 to higher KS3 level, supporting students who have gaps in their learning and mathematical understanding due to a range of factors. The role will focus on rebuilding core foundation skills, increasing confidence, and helping students make sustained progress towards achieving GCSE certification in Year 11.
We are seeking a teacher who understands the barriers faced by SEMH learners and can provide engaging, differentiated, and supportive teaching that meets individual needs. The successful applicant will also play an important role in helping to design and adapt the Maths curriculum to ensure it is accessible, meaningful, and appropriately challenging for our students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference to young people by helping them progress towards achieving a certified qualification in Year 11 whether this be GCSE or Functional Skills.
