We have an exciting
opportunity for a Teaching Assistant (Level 1 - 3) at Bar Hill
Primary School. You will be part of a very friendly and supportive team working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and leading small group interventions. This is an opportunity to make a real
difference to the learning and progress of our pupils - you will work
closely with our SENDCo, class teachers and teaching assistants to provide
our children with the best possible educational opportunities. If you are applying as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, the role will also include some cover for class teachers, when this is required. An
element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching
resources/class displays. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.

The ideal candidate:
Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent alongside the relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (or working towards these)
Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
