The First Federation Trust a multi academy trust of 29 primary schools spanning from West Dorset to Plymouth. We are looking to recruit a permanent Deputy Head of School at Willowbank Primary Academy .  The school is a large 4-11 primary situated in the town of Cullompton in Devon with close links to Junction 28 of the M5.

Willowbank is a highly regarded and inclusive Primary Academy seeking to appoint a new Deputy Head of School who will be pivotal in supporting the newly appointed Head of School to drive the school into the next phase of its’ development.  We are looking for a candidate that:

You will be a strong classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning and an ambition to develop your leadership skills more widely.  The ideal candidate should be someone who thrives on challenge, who wants to continually learn and is not satisfied with accepting the status quo.

As a Deputy Head of School, you will focus on school improvement within the school; supported by both the school leadership team and an experienced Trust Leadership Team. As part of your role, you will be required to lead a whole school area which could include curriculum, data and assessment, personal development or behaviour and attitudes.
