About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably experienced Pastoral Manager. This position is term time plus 5 additional days, to commence as soon as possible. 


As a Pastoral Manager you will support to remove the barriers to learning for all young people within the school community to ensure they achieve their academic and personal development goals. You will provide consistent approach, in line with Academy Policies and Procedures to ensure high standards of behaviour and engagement with learning and school life are achieved. 

Working with the Assistant Head for you will manage all aspects of the Pastoral care of all the students within the allocated Year group including welfare, behaviour, and attendance.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people and the ability to establish good professional relationships with students and colleagues. The successful candidate will also have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection and special educational needs.

Candidates must have a good standard of education equivalent to NVQ 3/A Level, with level 2 (GCSE) qualifications is graded 4-9 (A-C) in both English and Maths. Candidates must be organised, reliable and resilient, and be committed to helping young people achieve their potential whilst having a commitment to their own learning too.
