We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and experienced MFL teacher, with the management skills to lead and develop the department, who is keen to take the next steps in their career and make a real difference as a Director of MFL (with extended leadership responsibilities, as appropriate across the wider Academy).
A recruitment & retention allowance may be available for a strong candidate.

supported both in the department and by the senior leadership of the school.

You will consistently deliver
high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring
aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are
evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the
Academy.
As the Head of the Department, you
will have strong people skills to provide strategic direction and develop MFL
within the academy.
You should be able to teach Spanish
and French to GCSE and have the ability to inspire, lead and motivate staff to
continue the department’s development journey.
The appointed person will promote excellent student conduct, be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and should also be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.
All teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. Teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.
