The Director of Mathematics is responsible for the provision of high-quality learning and outcomes for young people and for providing professional strategic leadership and daily management of a staff team.
All teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.
About You
You should be motivated to ensure aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the Academy. Additionally, you should be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.
You should have the ability to teach Maths to KS5, experience of leading a successful team along with the ability to inspire, lead and motivate staff to continue the department’s development journey.
