About this Role

Class Teacher (Part time)

Required from: September 2024
Contract: Permanent, 2 days per week

Kislingbury CE Primary School is a unique and friendly Church of England school, striving to maintain high levels of education within a caring Christian family which is at the heart of the community. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff team ensure all our children are given the opportunity, support, guidance, and care to reach their full potential; academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually within a supportive Christian Family, and through our shared Christian values of Hope, Forgiveness, Respect, Courage, Wisdom, Trust, Creativity and Kindness, and with an overarching sense of love.

We have a exciting opportunity for a new class teacher to join our staffing team to teach and inspire our year 4/5 class, and contribute to our warm and caring environment.  Our ideal candidate will be:

  • enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive in their attitude about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community.
  • Able to work effectively, flexibly, and collaboratively with other staff members, families and the wider community.
  • able to deliver high quality first teaching.
  • confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies.
  • keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
  • Understanding of the importance of Child Protection and be committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.

In return, we will offer:

  • A supportive environment where contributions and ideas are encouraged, valued and supported.
  • Happy and motivated children who are eager to learn.
  • A fantastic close working team, both in school and across the Trust
  • Access to a vast array of employee benefits and recognition systems, via our brand-new partnership with Vivup
  • Employment within one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in Northamptonshire, with wider development and career opportunities.

Kislingbury CE Primary school is a proud member of PDET (Peterborough Diocese Education Trust). We are a family of 33 schools across the Peterborough Diocese, and these strong links make special contribution to our children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and learning. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing finances and other central services for the academies within the Trust.

If this sounds like the perfect job opportunity and you’d like to join our family, Kislingbury CE Primary School would like to hear from you. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged; please call 01604 831172 to arrange your visit.
