OFFICE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT  

    Salary: Scale 3 point 4-5 - FTE £23,80324,189, Actual salary £19035.83 - £19344.52

    Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus insets 8.30am -4.30pm

    Start date: 1st September 2024

    Katherine’s Primary Academy are looking for Administration Assistant to work 37 hours a week, term time only and insets. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and organised Office and Administration Assistant to join our thriving team. The position is to provide support to the school's administrative procedures, including but not exclusively: 

    • Good communication skills, communicating with a range of stakeholders 
    • To be able to compose emails demonstrating competent Literacy skills 
    • ICT proficiency - in all Microsoft programmes 
    • Good organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency 
    • Being the first point of call for parents and visitors, responding to requests in a timely manner. 
    • Maintenance of the manual and computerised pupil data records, including attendance details using schools online platforms 
    • Administration of school lunches and school money through the online portals. 
    • Support with organisation of school trips, sports events and visits 
    • Able to work to deadlines and plan effectively 
    • Administrative support for all areas of the school 
    • The ability to work under pressure in an environment where there are constant interruptions 
    • The ability to work on your own initiative 
    • An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
