About this Role

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to lead a thriving Psychology department delivering:

  • AQA A-Level Psychology to around 1,000 students
  • BTEC Applied Psychology to around 100 students

You will lead a team of 11 dedicated teachers, ensuring outstanding teaching, high academic standards, and exceptional student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the Psychology curriculum
  • Line managing and supporting teaching staff
  • Driving outstanding teaching and learning
  • Monitoring student progress and achievement
  • Promoting innovation and sharing best practice
  • Contributing to whole-college improvement

  • Has high expectations and a commitment to student success
