Leigh Beck Junior School is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and committed SENDCO.  We are a warm, friendly school and team, with wonderful children and supportive parents. Teachers are all supported on their ongoing CPD through quality support from the Lion Academy Trust team.

This is an exciting opportunity to implement the Trust agreed provision for SEND and gifted and talented children and interventions, working as a member of the leadership team.

Under the direction of the head Teacher, you will determine the strategic development of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND. You will need to line manage LSA teams and support the SEND interventions across the schools, working closely with the Deputy Head Teacher. The successful candidate will have experience with Essex SEND procedures and will be familiar with documentation for applying for EHCPs and annual reviews.

The successful candidate would be employed as a teacher under the STPCD and will hold specific duties in the role of SENDCo.
