About this Role

The role will involve supporting students with SEND across the curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The work would mostly be in the classroom supporting students in lessons led by the subject teacher but could also involve working with a student or small group of students in the Learning Support Base on a programme agreed by the Head of Learning Support.

The successful applicant will need to be adaptable, be prepared to work with students with emotional as well as learning difficulties and be able to work effectively within a team.

Benefits of working at Larkmead include:

  • Full support for your professional development and future training needs
  • A commitment to recognise previous, continuous service.
  • A generous holiday allowance which rises as you remain in employment.
  • A commitment to offer flexible working whenever we can and to support the work life balance of our employees
  • A 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
  • A Cycle to Work Scheme.

If you are keen to be part of a school with clear, positive values and which adds positive value to our students and staff then we look forward to meeting you.
