About this Role

26.25 hours per week (8.45 – 2.30), 5 days per week, working 38 weeks per year Grade E

(FTE £27,711 – Pro Rata Annual £16,549.48)

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Phonics Champion to join our friendly, and dedicated team. 

We are looking for an individual who is

·        promote our school ethos for phonics and early reading through a positive and energetic approach

·        able to engage and motivate children to read, role modelling excellent practice

·        highly skilled in RWInc, delivering groups, class sessions and interventions across all stages of the programme

·        support with the assessment of phonics ranging from assessments in the moment to the formal half termly assessment points.

·        work as part of our phonics teaching team and being confident to share good practice to support other staff development in this area.
