We are delighted to offer the role of Apprentice Teacher of Computing at Hampton Gardens. The successful candidate will be fully supported in working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a local accredited training provider. You will earn a salary while training and gain valuable, hands‑on classroom experience in Computing from day one.

The apprenticeship is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy, meaning there are no training fees for the successful candidate.

Why an Apprenticeship in Computing?

You will earn a salary while training, gain hands‑on experience across Key Stages 3-5 and work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a structured, fully funded programme with dedicated mentoring and support within our established Computing department.

Many of our apprentices go on to secure permanent roles within the Trust following successful completion of their training.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bring Computing to life
  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment and enrichment activities.
  • Receive high-quality training, coaching and professional development to support your journey towards QTS.

This is a full‑time role, with dedicated time built in for training, study and professional development.
