Welcome and thank you for your interest in Hampton Gardens School!

Located in Peterborough, we are an inclusive school which opened in September 2017 and now serves just over 1200 students aged 11 to 18, across the local communities of Hampton, Yaxley and surrounding villages.

 As a purpose-built school, we are very fortunate to benefit from outstanding facilities and grounds, including a 3G all-weather sports pitch, an auditorium for performances and assemblies, an exceptionally well-equipped Science department, including show laboratories for regional events and an impressive library / learning resource centre at the heart of the school. Our classrooms are light and airy and equipped with interactive facilities, so that students are provided with the best opportunities to reach their full potential.

 We are an inclusive school who believe in helping our students to become mature, confident and caring individuals, who have the necessary skills to go on and lead full and engaging futures. To achieve this, we have high expectations of every student, emphasising the importance of “being the best version of themselves”.

 In November 2021 our school received our first Ofsted inspection, where inspectors found provision to be ‘Good’ in all areas. It was noted that pupils like attending Hampton Gardens and study a wide range of subjects, which are taught well by Teachers who have high expectations.  This is reflected in our continued trend of positive Progress 8 scores and the number of pupils achieving grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSE’s at Hampton Gardens remaining above both local and national averages.
