About this Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff and collaborating with the wider Inclusion, SEND, and Pastoral teams to enhance the development and education of students in a specialised classroom for those with EHCPs and additional needs.

You will lead provision for Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), creating a structured and supportive learning environment that enables students to thrive. You will also support attendance initiatives and contribute to raising standards across the provision.

Your duties will include supporting student induction, assessment, intervention, and ongoing support, as well as contributing to the planning and evaluation of learning activities for individuals and groups. Monitoring individual progress, achievements, and development, and reporting these to teaching staff, will also form a key part of your role.

Additionally, you will deliver targeted clubs during break, lunchtime, or after school as part of the Achievement Support programme.

This role involves working closely with an experienced Inclusion Team, including the SENDCo and SEN Leadership Team, while also providing guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 Teaching Assistants.

For this position, you will either need prior experience working as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or substantial experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, with the confidence and readiness to take the next step.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is proactive, resilient, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
