We are looking to recruit staff
to join our team of casual Exam Invigilators. The role involves supervising
students during examinations under the guidance of the Lead Invigilator and
supporting the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of exams. Please see
the attached job description for full details of the duties and
responsibilities.
The main summer exam season runs
from May to June, with PPEs (mock exams) taking place in November, February,
March and May. Ad hoc formal exams also take place throughout the academic
year. Exams are scheduled across both mornings and afternoons within the school
day. External exams typically begin at 9:00am and 1:00pm and may last up to
three hours.
You will usually be required to
attend a short briefing before each exam. Please note that any time outside of
agreed invigilation hours (e.g. lunch breaks or gaps between exams) is unpaid.
Invigilators can agree the dates and times they are available to work with the Exams Team in advance of each exam period.
Please note that we are unable
to offer visa sponsorship for this role and applicants must hold existing UK
Right to Work.

Hours are submitted via a monthly
timesheet and paid in arrears directly into your bank account.
Previous experience as an Exam
Invigilator and/or within education or administration is desirable but not
essential, as full training will be provided. If you are looking for a flexible
