We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate teacher
to help drive the teaching of Geography across the school, striving to deliver
excellent results in our well-established and successful department.
This role is ideal for either an experienced teacher seeking a
new opportunity or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive and
dedicated department. We have a hardworking and committed team of specialist
teachers with a strong commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for
our students. Our ECTs follow the DfE Early Career Framework, with each teacher
having a subject mentor and an Induction Tutor.
We are looking for someone who can inspire
our students and promote a love for the subject both in and out of the
classroom. You will deliver captivating lessons, promoting a love of learning,
engage students in discussions on global issues, empowering them to think
critically and responsibly about their impact and lead fieldwork expeditions
and practical investigations to develop practical skills and hands-on
understanding of geographical concepts.
Hampton Gardens offers a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including lunch clubs, private music lessons and school performances. The Geography department offers both international residentials and school trips within the UK.
