Teacher of Maths (+TLR available)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate teacher to help drive the teaching of Maths from Key Stages 3 to 5, striving to deliver excellent results in our well-established and successful department. There is an opportunity for a TLR2a for the right candidate.  The exact focus of the TLR responsibility is negotiable according to the skillset of the successful candidate and may be discussed further at interview.  If the TLR is of interest to you, please reference this in your supporting statement.

We have a hardworking and committed team of specialist teachers with a strong commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students. Our ECTs follow the DfE Early Career Framework, with each teacher having a subject mentor and an Induction Tutor.

We are looking for someone who can inspire our students and promote a love for the subject both in and out of the classroom. Hampton Gardens offers a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including lunch clubs, private music lessons and school performances. Throughout the year our most able students are encouraged to participate in the UKMT maths challenges. As a school we also work with providers such as AMSP and the Cambridge Maths Hub to provide extracurricular trips and opportunities for students, alongside professional development for staff.
