We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic apprentice to provide administration support within the school.  This includes requests for information, logging and typing letters, answering phone calls, scanning, photocopying, updating database information and dealing with correspondence, some of which may be sensitive and confidential.

You will need to be a highly motivated team player with a flexible approach, excellent communication skills and an attention to detail.  Time management is key as you will be working within a busy school environment.  The successful candidate will be eager to learn and have the ability to relate well to young people.  A basic understanding of IT is essential.

This is a great opportunity to learn about working in an office environment, gaining valuable skills and experience whilst working towards a Business Administration Level 3 Diploma.  You will be fully supported by the school and the apprenticeship training programme, with dedicated time to complete assignments and portfolio.

We require GCSE's at a minimum of Grade 4 in English and Math's for this role.  The typical duration of the apprenticeship is approximately 18 months depending on existing knowledge, skills and experience.  For further details on the apprenticeship, please contact Ms D Cotgrove via the email address hr@seeat.org

Please refer to the attached job description for more information regarding the role.

The Deanes is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its entire staff to share this commitment. All postholders working in our schools will be considered to work in Regulated Activity and will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
