About this Role

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a non-teaching Head of Year. This is a full time, fixed term position to cover maternity leave, based at St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester. The role involves working term time only plus 2 weeks (40 weeks per year).

 The successful candidate will:

  •          Take responsibility for the pastoral and academic welfare of pupils in a particular year group.
  •          Raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the year group and to monitor and support student progress.
  •          Be accountable for student progress and development within the year group.
  •          Develop and enhance the practice of others.
  •          Remove barriers to learning and have an impact on students’ life chances.
