Westcountry Schools Trust Class Teacher: Based at Woodlands Park Primary School
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to work alongside a highly committed and experienced team who are driven by the shared goal of improving the lives of all our children.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong knowledge of pedagogy and how children learn
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum expectations, including early reading.
- Have high expectations for all pupils and be committed to ensuring they thrive academically, socially and emotionally
- Build and value strong relationships with children, staff and families to achieve success.
- Be someone who works collaboratively to enhance teaching and learning across the school
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to inspire and engage children
- Act within, the statutory frameworks, which set out their professional duties and responsibilities and in line with the duties outlined in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2025)
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
- Be committed to their own professional development and to contributing to the wider life of the school
