Woodlands Park Primary is a very successful and happy school, with a strong, established reputation in the local area.

Our aim is simple; to promote a lifelong love of learning for our children and to ensure the best possible outcomes in terms of progress and attainment for ALL pupils, by providing the highest quality teaching and learning possible.

We support, encourage and create confident learners who feel empowered in their learning and work together to support each other.  Staff and children at Woodlands Park Primary School, are a team.

Our values WARMTH (Well-being, Aspire and Achieve, Relationships, Motivate and Holistic) are embedded into everything that we do and we are proud of having a highly skilled, professional and caring staff team who tailor their teaching to encompass our values.  Our children are central to everyting that we do and are able to show their understanding of our WARMTH values through their day to day experiences at school, and articulate their understanding of the values, with pride.

Woodlands Park Primary School is a proud member of the The West Country Schools MAT (WeST). The WeST family now extends to 29 schools.  WeST hold a firm belief in giving each child every opportunity to learn and succeed in all that they do.  While we are a family of schools who share common values and beliefs, all our schools are unique and hold their own identity.  We believe that by working collectively, sharing what works well and jointly developing best practice, we are stronger together and can provide the very best education for our children in our geographical area.

Our curriculum is designed carefully to show progression across the year groups.  It truly encompasses our value of being holistic - developing the whole child.  We understand that every child is unique and special in their own ways.  At Woodlands Park Primary School we celebrate the uniqueness of each child.

We strongly believe that when we work toghether with you, your child has the very best of both worlds.  This relationship between you as a family and us as a school can only be effective when we establish an open, trustworthy relationship, with shared values and aims.  This is something that we work hard to achieve.  It is important that you as a parent or family, the staff team and of course the children know that I am always open to meeting and talking through anything that is of concern, or of course anything that needs to be celebrated!
