The postholder will divide their time between Gainsborough School, Gainsborough Rd, London E15 3AF and Eko Hub, North St, London E13 9HN. Gainsborough school is a mainstream primary school with a resource base for pupils with ASD.  From 1 September Eko Hub will be the main base of the Eko Trust Central Team and will also provide a temporary home for a Special School for children with ASD.

Hours of work will be:

10.30 am - 6.30 pm Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri

11.30 am - 8.30pm Weds

Flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the sites and manage any absence cover


We are looking for someone to make sure that both of these sites are safe, secure and welcoming.

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide a comprehensive site management service 

  • Line manage and supervise the work of assigned Site Operatives and manage site cover across both sites 

  • Ensure that the school premises are safe and well maintained.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong working knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

  • Has excellent handy skills

  • Is able to communicate with adults and children politely and effectively

  • Is organised and works in a timely way

  • Has a track record of effective premises delivery

  • Is able to manage budgets 

  • Is able to work effectively with contractors

  • Takes responsibility for their own and their team’s personal development including training and internal appraisal

  • Is highly professional and takes great pride in their work

  • Has a flexible and creative approach
