About this Role

We are seeking an experienced, inspirational and compassionate senior leader who is deeply committed to ensuring that every pupil can flourish. This role is about creating opportunities, building relationships, and transforming outcomes for children and families through exceptional leadership and inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive school culture where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to succeed. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will lead on behaviour and attendance, ensuring that every child receives the support and guidance they need to thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an unwavering commitment to unconditional  positive regard, belief in inclusion, equity, and the potential of every child
  • Builds strong, authentic, and trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Is a passionate advocate for children and families, with the confidence and integrity to champion what is right for pupils
  • Inspires and supports colleagues to develop consistent, relational, and inclusive practice across the school
  • Recognises and nurtures the strengths, talents, and individuality of every learner
  • Can lead strategically while remaining visible, approachable, and child-centred in their daily practice
  • Can demonstrate leadership impact on outcomes for disadvantaged pupils

In return, you will join a values-driven, ambitious, and highly supportive senior leadership team that is committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of children and families.

The Role

This is a leadership role with strategic responsibility for behaviour and attendance across the school. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to promote high expectations, positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and strong relationships throughout the school community.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and developing a relational and restorative approach to behaviour
  • Supporting staff to implement effective strategies that enable all pupils to succeed
  • Working directly with pupils and families to overcome barriers to learning
  • Monitoring behaviour, attendance, and pastoral outcomes to ensure the best possible impact for pupils
  • Designing and implementing programs and initiatives to support disadvantaged pupils
  • A teaching commitment throughout the school

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and reflective leader who is committed to continual improvement and who shares our belief that with the right support, every child can succeed.
