I am delighted to
welcome you to our wonderful school. Red Lane is a two-form entry primary
school located in Breightmet, Bolton, with two classes of 30 pupils in each
year group. Alongside our main school, we offer a large pre-school nursery as
well as a smaller two-year-old provision.
We are proud to live
by our motto, “Believe, Achieve, Succeed.” We work hard to ensure every child
thrives—academically, socially and emotionally—so they leave us as confident,
successful future citizens.
At Red Lane, relationships are at the heart of
everything we do. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe,
valued and genuinely understood. Our approach is rooted in relational practice,
where positive, respectful relationships underpin high expectations, excellent
behaviour and strong academic outcomes. We are committed to showing
unconditional positive regard towards every child. Regardless of background,
need or behaviour, every pupil is treated with dignity, respect and belief in
their potential. Inclusion is not an add‑on at Red Lane—it shapes our
decisions, our language and our daily practice. We are proud to be an Inclusion
Quality Mark Centre of Excellence, and we place great importance on creating a
school where every child feels they belong, is understood, and is supported to
succeed.
We are delighted that
Ofsted recognised the school Leadership as Outstanding along with our Personal
Development offer for pupils. This reflects the high expectations, care and
ambition that run through school life.
