Whitehouse Primary School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team from September 2026.
Lunchtime is an important part of every child's school day. As one of our Midday Supervisors, you'll help create a safe, happy and enjoyable environment where children can eat, play and socialise. Whether you're encouraging positive play, supporting friendships or simply being a reassuring adult, you'll play a vital role in our school community.
If you are someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive outlook and wants to be part of a supportive and welcoming team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Midday Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.
- Encourage positive behaviour and model our school values.
- Help children enjoy safe, active and inclusive playtimes.
- Support children with lunchtime routines where needed.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a positive lunchtime experience for every child.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is caring, patient and approachable.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can remain calm, organised and positive.
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to safeguarding children.
- Shares our vision of providing the very best for every child.
Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
