is a teaching position, but sufficient time will be designated to carry out the
Head of Year role. The requirements of this role include leading the year group
with a focus on providing pastoral support and guidance to pupils, prioritising
their well-being, behaviour, attendance and academic progress. You would be
expected to work closely with staff, parents and pupils to ensure pupils in the
year group reach their full potential and demonstrate high standards and
expectations, fostering a culture of excellence within the year group.
