About this Role

If you want to work in a school where children are at the centre of every decision, then The Orchards could be the school for you!

The Orchards is a specialist free school, which opened in September 2016, to support the learning needs of disabled pupils in the North of Trafford. Our bespoke and child centred curriculum is both dynamic and exciting and we are looking for practitioners who would like to join our team and deliver this curriculum for our pupils.

In September 2023 our staff team worked together to create The Orchard’s cultural values and we are looking for staff who want to work in this culture to join our forward thinking and dynamic staff team.

At The Orchards we

  • Ensure that children influence everything that we do and we are driven to work so that every child gets the very best.
  •  Ensure that everyone’s welfare is important and everyone feels listened to and valued.
  • Believe in the shared vision of the school and work hard as individuals to bring that to life to improve outcomes for children and their families.

If you share these values and want to work in a school where staff say …

‘Staff well being is well considered and work load is spread well to avoid an overwhelming amount of work for staff’ & ‘It has been a real pleasure joining the school. I feel listened to and valued daily’

then we could be the school for you! Come and help us ‘Champion Remarkable Children’ at our truly remarkable and fabulous school.
