The Orchards

About The Orchards

The Orchards are part of Bright Futures Educational Trust, a multi-academy trust set up in 2011. The Trust is made up of a richly diverse group of schools in Greater Manchester and Blackpool.  We are passionate about working together within and beyond the Trust to achieve our aspirational vision: the best for everyone, the best from everyone. We are an organisation that is underpinned by values of: community, integrity and passion. In everything we do, we remember that we are accountable to the children, families and communities that we serve.

If you want to work in a school where children are at the centre of every decision then The Orchards could be the school for you!

The Orchards is a specialist free school, which opened in September 2016, to support the learning needs of disabled pupils in the North of Trafford. Our bespoke and child centred curriculum is both dynamic and exciting and we are looking for practitioners who would like to join our team and deliver this curriculum for our pupils.

At The Orchards we

  • Ensure that children influence everything that we do and we are driven to work so that every child gets the very best.
  • Ensure that everyone’s welfare is important and everyone feels listened to and valued.
  • Believe in the shared vision of the school and work hard as individuals to bring that to life to improve outcomes for children and their families.

Staff well being is well considered and work load is spread well to avoid an overwhelming amount of work for staff’ & ‘It has been a real pleasure joining the school. I feel listened to and valued daily’,
