Cottingham CofE Primary School is a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust and has been since 2016. We are a family of 34 schools across the Peterborough Diocese, and these strong links make special contribution to our children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and learning. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and provides wider access to career and development opportunities and a number of different Wellbeing Resources, as part of our wellbeing charter commitment.

The ideal candidate will encompass the following:

·        An understanding/experience and love of teaching in KS1

• An enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive attitude about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community.
• Ability to work effectively, flexibly, and collaboratively with other staff members, families and the wider community.
• Is able to deliver high quality first teaching.
• Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies.
• Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.
• Wanting to lead a subject/s and take the next step upon their career journey
