Are you an inspiring and ambitious Design and Technology leader ready to shape the strategic direction of a dynamic curriculum area and drive excellence in teaching and learning?

 Heathside Weybridge is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Design and Technology CAM to lead our successful department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take on a key leadership role, overseeing the development of Design and Technology across Key Stages 3,4,5. The department currently offers Product design, Graphics, Textiles and food preparation courses at KS3,4,5.

As CAM, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement. You will teach across the age and ability range, including A-level, while leading curriculum development, supporting and developing colleagues, and driving outstanding outcomes for all students. T

• Passionate about Design and Technology and confident teaching across all key stages, including A-level
• Able to offer a specialism within Design and Technology (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Graphics)
• An experienced and effective leader with the ability to inspire, challenge, and develop colleagues
• Skilled in curriculum design and implementation, with a clear vision for high-quality teaching and learning
• Committed to raising standards and ensuring excellent progress and outcomes for all students
• Confident in using assessment and data to inform teaching and drive improvement across the department
• Dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in students
