HLTA - Nurture Lead
Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
We have a great opportunity for an HLTA to take on the role of the Nurture Lead. This will include providing specialised learning support for children identified as having emotional difficulties as well as supporting the wider school. You will work therapeutically with individuals and small groups delivering therapeutic interventions and activities, forming positive relationships and creating a safe place in which children can thrive, establishing good relationships with, and acting as a role model for them.

Be experienced in supporting social, emotional, and behavioural additional needs that affect a child’s ability to access learning successfully.
Be able to help children to overcome barriers that are preventing them reaching their full potential.
Understand and use trauma informed practice and strategies.
Be keen to develop their own practice and be committed to performance development.
Be an enthusiastic team player who is willing and able to share ideas and expertise.
Be skilled at building positive and respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
