SENCO with Class Teacher responsibilities

Payscale: Mainscale (+ SEN allowance £2,539 pro rata)

Commencing:  September 2024

Ermine Street Church Academy has an exciting opportunity for a committed SENDCO (3 days) /Class Teacher (2 days) to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. We would love you to take your place with us in this fantastic role!

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

·       Have experience of working as a Class Teacher and SENCO  in a primary school

·       Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

·       Be able to work flexibly and professionally

About Role

We are looking for an experienced SENCO with Class Teacher responsibilities to join our team.  The purpose of this role is to work alongside colleagues in planning, preparing and supporting the teaching and learning of all pupils in your care.
