About the Role

As an English Teacher at University Collegiate School, Bolton, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality English education that challenges and excites pupils across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form. You will:

  • Inspire intellectual curiosity and a passion for English through engaging, well-planned lessons
  • Support pupils to make exceptional progress and achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop a rich, coherent curriculum that prepares pupils for their next steps
  • Use data effectively to tailor learning and ensure continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the Trust, fostering a positive and inclusive culture
  • Engage with parents and the community to enrich pupils’ learning experiences
